Why we exist
PRIMAD ORGANISATION
A Non-Governmental Organisation established on 18th July, 2017 to cater for the needs of street children and promoting good health and well-being in rural communities. This organization tackles Sustainable Development Goals 2 & 3, making it a priority in reaching out to street children and addressing issues of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), free health screening and donations of free sanitary pads.
METHOD AND EVALUATION
The R-SHE project reaches out to rural communities from the month of June to December each year with volunteered Doctors and Nurses who educate the young girls and boys, teachers, parents and guardians the need to be healthy and proper hygienic measures during the period of menstruation. Afterwards, free provision of sanitary pads and under garments are donated to adolescent girls to ensure menstrual hygiene, safe and comfortable menstruation and also free hepatitis B screening is done for all. From the month of January to May is our period for planning and organization of needed materials as well as evaluation of the R-SHE project. Our assessment tools include focus groups discussion to evaluate the perceptions, knowledge, practice and experiences of these girls guardians, teachers and the community at large as well as community involvement and other metrics such as data collection, periodic phone calls and feedbacks, three months after the project initiative. So far, the Organisation has reached out eleven (11) rural communities and has donated thousand hundred (1100) sanitary pads in communities such as Nyameani, Bonkorkor, Edwinase, Eduadin, Nkwanta, Oyoko, Manso Abodom, Sakora Wonoo, Toafoam, Weweso, Kuntenase. MAKE ME SMILE STREET CHILDREN TOUR
No child deserves to suffer irrespective of the poor choices and decisions of their parents. Some are suffering for losing their parents, and others born into poverty. PRIMAD Organisation aims to feed and clothe street children putting smiles on their faces therefore came up with the project “Make Me Smile Street Children Tour”.

RURAL SEXUAL HEALTH EDUCATION PROJECT
A healthy person produces a healthy family, a healthy family produces a healthy society, a healthy society produces a healthy country and a healthy country produces a healthy world. It’s our goal to promote good health and well- being in rural communities fulfilling Sustainable Development Goal 3 “Good Health & Well-Being” and also tackling Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) with free donations of sanitary pads.
